The final journey can be both dignified and sustainable

Protecting nature and avoiding excessive wasting of resources is no longer a choice, but a matter of course for many people. And so why consume more wood and energy than is absolutely necessary when we say goodbye to this world?

That was the question we asked ourselves and the Orbit coffin was born. Together with Denmark's largest coffin factory "Fuglebjerg Kistefabrik", which has been producing quality coffins for all of Scandinavia for more than 100 years, we have cut to the bone, without compromising on quality and strength.

The result is a coffin where function, design and material consumption goes up into a higher sustainable entity.

Choose an Orbit when it is a matter of course that the coffin must be sustainable

Orbit is a range of environmentally optimised coffins for both funeral and burial, creating a dignified setting for the final farewell without compromising the environment. The coffin weighs just 12 kg because 80% less wood is used to produce an Orbit compared to a standard wooden coffin.

However, that's not the only advantage: When choosing an Orbit coffin, a long production process is excluded, which otherwise requires high energy consumption. The panels come with a beautiful finish, so no further finishing is needed.

Next, an Orbit is produced in one process and assembled without the use of heavy machinery or metal. In fact, CO2 emissions are reduced by more than 94% just by choosing the FSC certified panels. There are many more advantages to choosing an Orbit, however. Read the leaflet to find out why an Orbit is the most sustainable choice for coffins.

The standard coffin of the future is called Orbit. That is why we believe that sustainability is a matter of course, even when it comes to the final journey.
